    Since 1988, the focus on the individual student has grown to include personal mentoring, a faculty dedicated to ministering in the life of each student, and partnerships with local churches to open ministry opportunities for our students and graduates.  Phoenix seminary is committed to excellent theological and Biblical training, with application to personal ministry environments, affirming our vision of training the spiritual leadership of the Southwest to reach the world.

    Phoenix Seminary has a deep conviction that preparation for ministry is about much more than just pursuing a graduate degree.  It's about gaining theological and Biblical understanding combined with well-developed ministry skills.  It's about developing the ability to teach and apply the Bible with an awareness of the culture in which we live.  It's about the formation of true Christ-like character.  Simply stated, it's about “Scholarship with a Shepherd’s Heart.”
